are Jews and zionists the same thing?
no and a quick google search would have yielded a faster answer
i’m curious tho what do you think would happen if it turned back into one Palestinian state what would happen to the Jews? where would they go?
they don’t have to go anywhere like… why does giving palestinians equal rights suddenly mean ethnic cleansing is inevitable. it’s almost like jews, christians, and muslims have been living in that same part of the world together for hundreds of years or something
hey, genuine question from someone who tries hard to understand the situation in Palestine: do you believe most people in Gaza and the West Bank and in Israel would support a one state solution? cause I know how much state terror is practiced by Israel and the Zionists but the rest of the Jewish people there, do they believe in a one state solution? and (you guys) Palestinians who have been suffering for so long?
most palestinians i know want a one state solution because they want equal rights in the country they and their ancestors were born in. i don’t know the consensus among israelis, if there is one, but current political powers in israel don’t want to demilitarize palestine or lift the siege on gaza and also don’t want to afford palestinians the same rights as jewish people.
there is definitely liberal israeli support for the palestinian cause but i’m certain their opinions differs vs an israeli settler, for example.
serene sorry i’m stupid but i’m curious are Palestinians their own people or like consider themselves Arabs? I once heard someone say there’s many Arab countries so why can’t the Palestinians go there since there’s only one Jewish state in the whole world but aren’t Palestinians their own like people? Pls educate me
palestinians consider themselves arabs but asking why they can’t just “go there” to other arab countries is mind boggling lmfao. do people think palestinians popped out of the ground in 1948? or they fell from the sky? or that israel was just empty and uninhabited until 1948? that region of the world is home to some of the earliest civilizations, palestine and palestinians have existed for 1000s of years. then in 1948 they are kicked off their land and stripped of their human rights thereafter but that doesn’t matter because they’re arab and they can just go somewhere else???? seriously? why are the rights of one population more important than the rights of the another? why does one group deserve security and right of return and land ownership but another doesn’t?
not to mention that millions of palestinians DID go somewhere else. they fled to jordan and syria and lebanon. many still live in refugee camps located in those countries today with no right to return to the country they and their family were born in.
like you ask me if palestinians consider themselves arabs so that you can justify them being stripped of everything because they can go to another arab state. no one would ever make that assertion if the people of a european country were suddenly slaughtered and kicked out of their country. would you say “they’re white, can’t they just go to another white country?”
a one state solution also doesn’t mean that the jewish population is suddenly evicted. like the fact that ppl can’t conceive of a palestine where people of all religions can live together with equal rights just shows how little they care about palestinians having the right to live as equals instead of as second class citizens.
why don’t you believe in a two state solution?
two state solution is occupation lite, apartheid 2.0. it’s also never going to happen. one state with an equal society with full restoration of palestinian rights is far preferable, but israel (and thus its allies) doesn’t want to allow palestinians basic human rights. it also makes no sense to kick people off their land… again… and then call it “fair” because you drew up new borders for them. that’s ethnic cleansing.
Girl you get the dumbest asks. Like I really want the anon that said that Sansa was teaching Arya manners to get a look at themselves and the crap they are willing to justify just because they can’t be critical of a character they like. I like Sansa, she is compelling because of her flaws and growth, so to whitewash her early cruelty speaks of such a lack of awareness and “staning” that irks the heck out of me!
I love Sansa too, and I think it’s a disservice to her story, character, and growth to pretend like she’s perfect and has done nothing wrong ever. Part of what is so compelling about Sansa is simply watching her learn to see other perspectives, and since so much of Sansa’s story is based on observation and growing up and experiencing hardship, she develops a lot through those experiences. If you’re looking for a perfect character feel free to go read other books 🤷🏻♀️
What is the reason for arya’s popularity? I don’t get. In the books she prioritised killing a perfect stranger over tywin. In the show she doesn’t like sansa but likes tywin just cause he praised her. She is insanely problematic. Yet everyone Stan her. She is the fandom darling.
me @ this question:

largely because you pulled something random from the books and something random from the show and then called her ~insanely problematic~. pick one battlefield: the books or the show. i’ll not address the show because the show is bullshit and i’m amazed you haven’t realized that yet.
To answer your general question: why do people like Arya? Well, she’s compassionate, she loves people for who they are, she stands up for those weaker than her, she’s resilient, she’s intelligent, she’s emotional, she cares, she’s willful, she’s brave (so, so brave), and is stronger than anyone gives her credit for. I could go on and on and go into the details, but you’re clearly not interested in that. But I do want to address one thing…
In the books she prioritised killing a perfect stranger over tywin.
Who was that perfect stranger? Oh yes, he was Weese, who physically abused Arya during her time at Harrenhal, hitting her over nothing, and a man who she described as being “nearly as scary as Gregor Clegane” and who she lived in fear of. A perfect stranger? No. She knew who he was. She knew he was beating her and her friends. So she had him killed.
Alright, what about before Weese? We’d be talking about Chiswyck, a man who tortured smallfolk and bragged about gangraping a thirteen year old in front of her father and killing her brother. Who, while bragging, laughed about it and made jokes about it. Did Arya know him very well at all? No. But Arya saw a chance to make this disgusting man pay, to prevent it happening to other girls, and she took that chance. It’s not always about cutting off the head of the snake. Sometimes attacking the body is just as necessary.
In any case, Arya regretted her decision to have Weese and Chiswyck killed very soon after she whispered his name to Jaqen:
A shiver crept up Arya’s spine as she watched them pass under the great iron portcullis of Harrenhal. Suddenly she knew that she had made a terrible mistake. I’m so stupid, she thought. Weese did not matter, no more than Chiswyck had. These were the men who mattered, the ones she ought to have killed. Last night she could have whispered any of them dead, if only she hadn’t been so mad at Weese for hitting her and lying about the capon.
Lord Tywin, why didn’t I say Lord Tywin? Perhaps it was not too late to change her mind. Weese was not killed yet. If she could find Jaqen, tell him…
But emotion is what drives Arya. She is willful, she gets angry quickly, and she acts fast. That sometimes works in her favor, and sometimes saves her. But Arya saw these smaller villains, experienced their abuse firsthand, learned of their other abuses, and made the quick decision to see them killed. Sure, she could have had Tywin killed then and there, but wasn’t his fate. But I wouldn’t say that Weese and Chiswyck didn’t deserve what they got, I recognize that Tywin’s story would never have ended so early, and I’m glad for Arya’s anger and compassion. Those are two of the many characteristics that make her so likeable.
