Do you think Gendry will reforge it? I really like the idea and honestly just want Ice reforged. What do you think will happen to it?

While I want Ice to be reforged, I can also see how it might not happen. I also think Gendry reforging it is a little cheesy.

I’m not really sold on any one theory pertaining to Ice or the acquisition of a new Valyrian steel weapon. I remember reading theories about Dark Sister being rediscovered by Arya, which would be a cool way to reintroduce a Valyrian steel weapon into House Stark, but again, I’m not sold. These magical weapons are tricky bc there’s such a fine line between what can realistically happen and full-blown renewed shall be the blade that was broken and the crownless again shall be king. Ya feel?

Ice being reforged was such a messed up moment for me. Amidst everything, seeing the sword carried for years being remade to honor their killers… i was high key pissed.

i am always sad about Ice. but seeing house lannister’s trajectory lead them straight to destruction tells me they at least won’t have widow’s wail for long.

i love that tywin was unable to buy a valyrian sword and that the only way he could get one was to steal it off a dead man. i mean i am absolutely devastated about Ice but i still find the mental image of tywin fuming that he doesn’t have a magical phallic power symbol because some dumbass ancestor of his lost it is hilarious and cathartic to me

ideally? she dies, but with dignity. the reason the valonqar!jaime theory irks me so much is because the idea of her dying violently by the hands of a man she (once) trusted really disgusts me.
