The article was connected to Terry Prachett somehow and I have tp share Chad came from Ceadda, name of a 7th century Anglo-Saxon saint, and until the 1960’s it was a rare AF Catholic name. Nobody 100% knows what it means, there’s suggestions of welsh element “cad” that means battle. But Tiffany? It means “manifestation of God”, it’s greek and for once the English version wasn’t the child of the French version but the sibling xD

It was connected to Terry Pratchett because he has a character named Tiffany Aching who is supposed to be living in a medieval Europe type of setting. But yeah it’s crazy how languages works and develops and how often we perceive real history to be unrealistic. Chad and Tiffany being names much older than we believe is just a couple of examples among many!
