Redding California is burning down.

The emergency crews aren’t allowing pets or livestock because they are basically in crisis mode and running. Redding was already a fallback position, then the Carr fire tripled in size on a single day, burning 40 miles of land.

These are good, salt of the Earth people who are losing their homes. I don’t have donation info or anything but if you know anyone in Norcal, give them a call and make sure they’re alright.

It’s 110°F all week up there. There’s massive winds blowing through the canyon. Zero humidity. The firefighters are just concentrating on getting people out of the way at this point, containment isn’t an option.
